Christmas Eve

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!  We did and are still trying to recover! LOL!  I am going to back track a little to Christmas Eve.  This day is so much fun!  The anticipation of Christmas is almost as good as the morning itself!

 

We started the evening with making cookies for Santa. We enjoyed a few ourselves, of course!

We then took a bath, put on Christmas Pj’s (Andrew opted for Star Wars) and threw out reindeer food (cereal and sprinkles).

These two are so stinking cute!!

Then we hung out around the tree (thanks daddy for taking the picture!) and watched A Charlie Brown Christmas.

It was a prefect Christmas Eve!

This past Sunday we had Christmas with my side of the family.  We always spend the whole time laughing.

Christmas with Friends

We have a tradition of celebrating Christmas with friends every year and it is always so much fun! We hosted the festivities this year and these two couldn’t have been happier.

And we couldn’t either!

Nick cooked a delicious roast with mashed potatoes, and green beans.  The kids enjoyed chicken fingers and fruit.

I think they were just happy to be together. Abigail and Claire already had their dress up outfits on!

Eddie and Fowler decided to play with puzzles and read books.  These two are the sweetest!

Then it was time for presents! The kids draw names and have one gift to open.  They were all very happy with their surprises!

We always try to fit in some type of craft and this year we made snowflakes.  We taped off snowflakes designs with painter tape and let the kids cover them in paint.  They turned out really cute!

Everyone left full and tired.  It was a successful night!
